Foundation Armor manufactures several wet look patio sealers. The wet look sealer that is best for your patio will depend on a few factors including what your patio is made of, and what you want your patio to look like once sealed.
Paver Patios: If your patio is made of concrete pavers, you have a few different choices. If you want a dramatic color enhancing wet look then you want a solvent-based wet look sealer. For a low gloss, go with the Armor AR350 and for a high gloss, go with the Armor AR500. If you want minimal color enhancement you want a water-based acrylic sealer. For a low gloss, go with the Armor WB15 and for a high gloss, go with the Armor WB25. As an alternative, the Armor WL550 will provide a light color enhancement without the gloss or surface film.
Stamped Concrete Patios: If your patio is made of stamped concrete, you have a few different choices.
Broom Finished Concrete Patios: If your patio is broom finished, you want to stick with a water-based acrylic sealer like the Armor WB15 or Armor WB25. While solvent-based acrylic sealers can be applied to broom finished concrete, due to the porosity of the concrete, many coats are often required to get a consistent wet-look finish.
Brick Patios: If your patio is made of red clay bricks, you want a penetrating wet look sealer like the Armor WL550. Acrylic sealers are not recommended for brick.
Natural Stone Patios: If your patio is made of travertine, flagstone, bluestone, or slate, you want a penetrating wet look sealer like the Armor WL550. Acrylic sealers are not recommended for natural stone.
