Easy Application and Beautiful Results

We were looking for a sealer for our stamped concrete patio walkways and steps that didn’t have a glossy shine to it. This product fit the bill perfectly. It has a great sheen that looks a little damp but is not overly reflective. It brought our yard together with not over stating the beauty of our concrete work. The folks at Foundation Armor were really helpful in working with us to pick the sealer that met our needs. Great customer support and just good folks.

Can be used on new concrete!

Instead of waiting 28 days to apply a sealer to our new concrete garage floor we were able to seal it 3 days after the concrete was poured. This is a cure and seal that you don't have to wait for the concrete to be completely cured as a regular sealer requires. It's a low gloss water base product that penetrates and cures. We applied it with a mist setting on a garden sprayer and followed quickly behind with a 3/8 nap paint roller to spread it evenly. It went down great. We applied a 2nd coat after 3 hours with the same method. The second coat stayed milky white a little longer than the first coat but dried to a great finish in about 4 hours. We used about 3/4 of the 5 gallon bucket to apply 2 coats on a 32x28 floor. I highly recommend this product

pentration sealer may be better

I find that when I used this I had to often redo the job in 2-3 years. I researched and I think that a penetrating sealer would be a better way of doing the job I was doing. (pouring concrete driveway) Overall decent if you like redoing your work

New life!

We used this product on our 20 year old paver patio and couldn't be more pleased! It has a slightly wet look instead of being worn out! Really enjoyed that it was water based as well since we have little ones around

Great Product!

Great sealer. Easy to use and easy to cover surfaces. We tried 2 different methods to apply; paint roller and sprayer. Sprayer method was much easier and faster. 4 buckets coated our driveway patio front side walk basement steps and front porch with 2 coats each with plenty of sealer left over (probably could've left off the 4th but we didn't want to be stingy with the application). The sealer provides a low gloss look as stated and adds life back to concrete.

Foundation Armor Concrete Sealer: Worth the Price

I highly recommend the FA's low gloss sealer based on my experience. I applied it to my outdoor patio and walkways. After 6 weeks water still beads nicely the concrete has a nice sheen and I have no complaints about the overall appearance. I used a paint roller and waited the prescribed time before applying a second coat. I was careful not to allow the product to puddle in any areas except in the concrete's relief cracks. The cracks took about a week to fully dry and appeared milky at first but ultimately cleared up. The concrete has freckles when wet suggesting an uneven level of sealer protection. I therefore regret not having applied a third coat and will do so sometime later this year. I purchased the low gloss version of this sealer with plans to use it on both concrete and brick. It was not apparent to me from the online descriptions that low gloss was not for brick but the container's label instructions specifically state do NOT use on brick. So I was forced to also purchase a brick sealer. I decided to stay with the FA line but unfortunately their brick sealer leaves a matte finish. Although I would have been happier with an equivalent sheen on the brick I'm finding that version of the sealer is also performing well. I do have a complaint about the packaging. I purchased the concrete sealer in 5 gallon tubs the kind made by Letica and often used for equivalent volumes of paint. The instructions on the concrete sealer label are to stir well but to do so the lid needs to be cut away in order to get into the bucket. Cutting the lid is very difficult and makes it unusable so the pour spout is worthless and keeping the container closed becomes a challenge. I was hesitant about buying this brand because of the price but after reading online reviews of competing products I decided that I didn't want to risk any similar negative experiences. As long as you follow directions and don't allow excess material to puddle you'll likely find that the protection is worth the price.

Great stuff - It works

My recently installed basement concrete floor was soft and had a serious dusting issue. After applying two coats of L3000 (see my review of that product for more information) the floor was much harder and much less dusty but still a bit dusty . I discussed the issue with staff at Foundation Armor and they recommended two coats of WB15. I ordered 2 gallons at the conclusion of my discussion with staff and it arrived the next day. Note that this web site does not show the one gallon size but single gallons of WB 15 are available if you call them. I applied the product following the instructions with a standard 3/8 inch nap roller. Easy to apply. I applied two coats. I found that the first coat took a gallon for 420 SF somewhat less than shown above. The second coat used less than half a gallon. The end result was great. No dusting issue and the surface is smooth. Sweeping up shop dust is easy.

Excellent Product!

I used the Armor WB15 for the first time on my newly poured 30'x30' concrete slab and it looks great! I applied with an inexpensive pump sprayer and it covered very well. I sought factory customer support to determine which sealer was best for my application. The engineer I spoke with was very helpful offering multiple options and taking the time to explain to value of each option. I highly recommend this product!

Durable high quality

Excellent durable acrylic coating for high foot traffic area. I called Foundation Armor and got great advice pointing me to this product. I used it indoors on a concrete slab floor in a barn converted into an apartment. I stained with iron and let everything dry then applied copious product with a sprayer and then rolled over to ensure even coverage returning 5 min later for a second coat. So far it looks great.

The product is durable and performs as stated.

Used on my garage floor 8 months ago and very happy with the sealer. When wet from the rain the floor is not very slippery. Have changed oil on vehicles and the oil wipes up and the floor is clean. Application was very easy. Great product and customer service.
